Sri Sathya Sai
Bhagwan Sri Sathya Sai Baba has firmly believed and propagated
that “Grama Seva is Rama Seva”. Volunteers of Sri Sathya Sai
Seva Organisation have been rendering Grama Seva widely in their
own inimitable styles with Love and compassion. In each state, the service wing identifies the needy communities of the society and conducts activities accordingly. This is a rare opportunity of serving the rural poor through a systematic and integrated approach in the areas of medicare, sociocare, educare, agricare, individual care, employment care and spiritual care.

The state of Tamilnadu has been given the opportunity to perform Parthi Seva thrice in a calendar
year. March 15th to March 31st, May 1st to May 15th and from October 15th to November 15th at Prashanthi Nilayam (Bhagwan’s divine above), Puttaparthi. How does one get the opportunity to do Prashanthi Seva? The entry of a normal person into a Sri Sathya Sai Seva Dal is through Sri Sathya Sai Samithi (individual Unit / Centre), the very foundation of Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisation.
Inspired by other Sevadals, service activities done by Samithis
and Bhajan Mandalis of Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisation, a person becomes a member of a Samithi / Bhajan Mandali nearby.
Out of the billions of people on earth, only a few million knew
about Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba. Out of these, only a few believed in HIS
divinity and worshiped Him. Even among those who knew and believed in Him, very
few had the opportunity to see Him, experience Him and be in His presence. Only
a few have the opportunity to serve in Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisation. And
only very few had wonderful opportunity to serve in Prashanthi Nilayam.
Prashanthi Nilayam is a divine workshop, given by our beloved Bhagawan.
