Sri Sathya Sai

Village integrated programme (SSSVIP):

Bhagwan Sri Sathya Sai Baba has firmly believed and propagated

that “Grama Seva is Rama Seva”. Volunteers of Sri Sathya Sai

Seva Organisation have been rendering Grama Seva widely in their

own inimitable styles with Love and compassion. In each state, the service wing identifies the needy communities of the society and conducts activities accordingly. This is a rare opportunity of serving the rural poor through a systematic and integrated approach in the areas of medicare, sociocare, educare, agricare, individual care, employment care and spiritual care.

SSSVIP has been implemented in Twenty Districts in Tamil Nadu across 31 samithis and 17 Bhajana Mandalis.

Chennai North, Chennai

South, Cuddalore, Coimbatore, Dharmapuri, Erore, Kanchipuram South & North, Nagai, Nilgiris, Salem, Tuticorin, Tanjavur, Tirunelveli, Trichy, Tiripur,

Vellore, Villupuram and Madurai are the 20 Districts.

Prashanthi Seva

The state of Tamilnadu has been given the opportunity to perform Parthi Seva thrice in a calendar

year. March 15th to March 31st, May 1st to May 15th and from October 15th to November 15th at Prashanthi Nilayam (Bhagwan’s divine above), Puttaparthi. How does one get the opportunity to do Prashanthi Seva? The entry of a normal person into a Sri Sathya Sai Seva Dal is through Sri Sathya Sai Samithi (individual Unit / Centre), the very foundation of Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisation.

Inspired by other Sevadals, service activities done by Samithis

and Bhajan Mandalis of Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisation, a person becomes a member of a Samithi / Bhajan Mandali nearby.

Out of the billions of people on earth, only a few million knew

about Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba. Out of these, only a few believed in HIS

divinity and worshiped Him. Even among those who knew and believed in Him, very

few had the opportunity to see Him, experience Him and be in His presence. Only

a few have the opportunity to serve in Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisation. And

only very few had wonderful opportunity to serve in Prashanthi Nilayam.

Prashanthi Nilayam is a divine workshop, given by our beloved Bhagawan.

Sri Sathya Sai National Narayana Seva (SSSNNS):

Despite several schemes by Govt and Non-Govt organisations, we still find many people without two meals a day and hardly they get a proper food and many strive to get ends

meet with their hands to mouth income. At surface things look very bright but when we get insights and make a survey in any area we find poor people and they lack basic amenities. Here comes the role of Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisation

and its volunteers who always look for service opportunities in their vicinity. This is conducted in

once a month in the samithis throughout the State. Total number 917 across the State and have benefitted around 50 thousand as of date

Sri Sathya Sai Amrutha Kalashams

Sri Sathya Sai Amrutha Kalasham is a unique way of providing monthly ration to poor people in remote localities of towns and villages.

Initially a survey is conducted by volunteers of SSSSO to identify people or families having very low income and struggling to earn their livelihood. A monthly package of Rice, Dhal, Cooking oil, turmeric, chillies, jiggery / sugar, soaps, tooth paste etc. sufficient for 2-3 persons is handed over to them at their door step. Sometimes, the recipients are brought to the Sathya Sai Mandirs, where the Amrutha Kalashams are distributed by invited guests.

This is an ongoing activity under taken by many of the Seva Samithis in the States, thousands of Amrutha Kalashams are distributed by members of the Organization every month. Devotees and Sevadal who participate in this service

activity experience bliss of Swami and derive immense satisfaction and

are often seen to encourage others also to take part.

This is conducted once a month in most of the samithis throughout the State
