The subject was created in the book form by Sir S Thiyagaran and the same was submitted to beloved SAI MA by Mr RK SEKARAN. Disaster Management program for the Aptha Mitra cum NSS students of Shankara College
Sairam with the blessings of our beloved Swamy’s yesterday (28-1-2023), the Disaster Management program for the Aptha Mitra cum NSS students of Shankara College Kanchipuram was grand sucess. The Principal and their staff were with us for the whole program. At the concluding section everybody realised it as HOLY program. Total participants were 105. During program the College Principal requested to continue to take the students for Prasanthi Seva We trust our Kanchi South District, with continue to give that opportunity through the Dist President / Mr Gunasekar and all others. Sairam, with the Divine Blessings of our Beloved Swami, our State DM team is planning to organise Emergency response camps at three places during the forthcoming Thai Ammavassi which falls on 21st January, Saturday, the camp places are Bhavani (Erode), Srirangam (Trichy) and Vedaranyam (Nagai). DM trained sevadals and youth members will be divided into three groups and they will be stationed in the respective places where there will be huge gathering of devotees, I request all DP brothers to extend your support to our DM team in-charges to make this unique seva a successful one.

Disaster Awareness program at Sri Venkateswara College of Engineering
Sairam today (17-12-22) the Disaster Awareness program at Sri Venkateswara College of Engineering was a grand success. It was aptly supported by the District Presidents of Kanchi South, Chennai North West, Sripremandur Samithi Convenor and our ever supportive DM sevadals. Total participants were 252. Sairam the Disaster Management program for Pondy AApda Mithra. 2nd day (16-10-22) pgm also went very well. We shared the glimpses on first aid, physio, water rescue & self lift methods. Disaster Management Program for the Omandurar Medical College Students
Sairam with Swamy’s blessings we got an opportunity on 13th August 2022, to share the DM knowledge for the Omandurar Medical College Students . It was attended by 26 students along with their staff 6 ( HoD, Faculty Doctors, Educators and other staffs). The program was conducted at SSS Regional DM Training Centre, Nanmangalam. The building trustees perfectly extended their hospitality along with that Samith Convenor. As a Faculties it was attended by Kanchi North District Service Coordinator(Mahila) DM Coordinators (Both Mahila and Gents). During conclusion the TN VP came and addressed the gathering. The entire team were very happy. We may get many more chances from such medical Colleges too. Sure our beloved SWAMY will bless us to strengthen our team to fulfill such calls. Jai Sai Ram

DM Program at Prashanthi Nilayam
Our loving Sairam to one and all, With Swamy’s enormous blessings few States had an opportunity to be in the Prasanthi Nilayam, which is the Universe Spritual Training centre. In that two teams from Tamilnadu South & North DM sevadals {Krishnamurthy, Balaji, Sanjay, Pavitharan, Vinay, Anand Vignesh and others) got opportunity to take part / lead the Safety orientation, evocation& fire drill at various locations in the Prasanthi Nilayam from 27th to 28th May 2022. We all realised the blissful presence of our beloved SWAMY.

With the blessings of our beloved Bhagwan, we will be having the 1st DM program of our Chennai NorthWest district on 21/5/22 (Saturday) at Sri Venkateswara College of Engineering, Sriperumbudur.
It’s a day long program which has got a lot of insightful theory as well as practical sessions regarding Disaster Management techniques which will be taken by our State DM team under the leadership of shri Anandavelu.
Requesting each one of you to pass on the message to their respective samithis especially youths who are staying near Sriperumbudur & nearby areas and also devotees who want to know more can attend this fullday program. With swami’s blessings the DM program at SVCE, Sriperumbudur was conducted wonderfully by our DM state team under the leadership of shri Anandavelu Sairam today.
This was a comprehensive DM awareness and preparedness program. It had both theory and practical session where total 180 students & faculty put together from the college participated actively.
The team did a wonderful job by explaining each and every disaster event, preparedness to encounter such situation and how to help others during such difficult times. Thanks to DM team & all who were involved in conducting the program at SVCE, Sriperumbudur.

DM Program at Prashanthi Nilayam
Sairam to the DPs, we the SSSSO, team DM got a request from Prasanthi Nilayam. They want Southern States to conduct a safety orientation and fire evacuation program on 27th & 28th May 2022, at Prasanthi Nilayam. The fire evacuation has to be conducted at various locations like Admin block, Super Hospital, College, Shopping complex area etc. For this they expect minimum 10 members from TN & CMR.
As of now proposed members for Prasanthi Nilayam DM pgm from Tamil Nadu & Chennai Metro Region are:

Disaster Management Program at Bharathi College
Sairam on 30-4-22 a DM prorgram at Bharathi College, Broadway. Total participants were 195 students. From our side Mr Janakiraman-Tondiyarpet Samithi, Mr Elango and other two faculties. The whole day program was very good. It ended with holy emotional conclusion from students and college management. The College authority is very much interested to get the support from our Organisation especially skills like spoken English, etc. We will do our best through respective Samithi / Dist. Sairama Aradhana day celebration @ GANDHI GRAMA, near Thiruthani by Sai DM team. Got an wonderful opportunity through Tamil Nadu Teachers Education University to conduct the pgm at this village. With blessings of Bhagwan today ,Thursday 14/04/2022 in continuous to the virtual Inaguration of REGIONAL DISASTER MANAGEMENT TRAINING CENTRE (RDMTC) and Bhajana Mandalies (BM) at Prasanthi Nilayam in the presence of Shri Rathanakar, Managing Trustee, SSS Central Trust and the State Presidents’ of Tamil Nadu & Chennai Metro Region, a live inagural function was also organised at RDMTC @ Nanmangalam, Kanchi North.

The Poorna Kumbham which was carried by GS Ramesh , District Office bearer from Shirdi Sai Sannidhi along with the devotees chanting Veda parayanam.
The State Vice President Dr. K.P. Sai Sridhar, inaugurated the RDMTC by cutting the ribbon. Bhagwan blessed the moment with floral showers which was witnessed by all the devotees who were present.
Mahila co-ordinators of various wings lit the lamp of Love.
District President Sri Kannan welcomed the audience and invited SVP to give Inaugural address.
In the Inaugural address TN VP . shared about how DM evolved in our State and BHAGWAN’S hand in its development. He appreciated the DM members and motivated more members to get Trained.

Disaster Awareness Program at Vels University
Sairam on 25-3-22 DA program at Vels University, Tazambur near OMR was conducted by 4 Màhilas and 3 gents sevadals. Total participants were 96. The college Authorities and students were very happy. With HIs enormous blessings today also a similar program in that same college.
Sairam with the enormous blessings from our beloved Swamy’s the day-2 (26-3-22) program at Vels University, Talambur was grand success. After a long time many faculties taken part in this program. Total participants were 402 and facilities Mahilas 6 and 8 gents sevadals, which includes the Dist DM Coordinators of Metro East Mr Balaji, Thiruvallur Mr Pavitharan, Kanchi North Mr Balaji, Kanchi South Mr Thiyagu.

Sairam with Bhagawan’s grace, we DM Team Conducted a DM programme for Kamaraj college students on 9 March 2022 at THOOTHUKUDI.
28 boys and 13 girls participated

Sairam, With the Divine Blessings of our Beloved Bhagavan, Disaster Management Program was conducted today (19.12.2021) at Sundaram. 87 Mahila Youth from 7 district of CMR participated in this event. 8 DM Mahila trainers engaged the participants and created awareness.
All participants shared positive feedback & are eagerly awaiting for the Practical sessions. We are also planning for District wise training sessions to spread the awareness amongst all Mahila Youth.
We thank Bhagavan for the opportunity given to us to conduct this program. We also thank our SP, SSCs (Mahila & Gents), Anandavelu Sairam, Poorani Sairam, Renuka Sairam & DP-CH South for their active support in organising this event.

Flood Relief Seva Activity at Classic Farms
Sairam on 29 Nov 2021 we had an opportunity to serve the marooned residents of Classic Farm area, in which our SSS Seva Kendra is located. Responding to our call, fishermen folk brother Chandru mobilised a huge boat with 4 able volunteers in a record time of 1.5 hours. Chennai East Coast District President Sri Prabhu organised 100 food packets.
With DM volunteers and some of the youth residents, we were able to serve milk , bread and biscuits. We also served food packets to the needy workers. Chandru’ s team from NEELANGARAI is our find from the DA program we did a few years back for revenue officials in Mohamad Sathak college. Undaunted by occasional heavy downpour, we were able to complete the task with able help from our DM coordinator Sri. Anandvelu. We are grateful to Swami for using us as His instruments.

Flood Relief Seva Activity at Periyar Nagar
Sairam, with the Divine Blessings of our Swami 450 food packets along with water was distributed today on 30.11.2021 at Periyar Nagar near Kishkintha area, DM team members and other Seva dals took part in this Seva actively.
Flood Relief Seva Activity adopted Village
Sairam, By the grace of Swami Narayana service was done in the Kannikapuram Irular Residence area on 29.11.2021, the adopted village of the Little Kanchipuram Samiti, Kanchi South district. 300 people were provided with food.
Flood Relief Activity Tambaram West
Daring and different are Sai Seva Dals!
Sairam today (27th Nov 2021), we got a call from Tambaram west Astalakshmi Nagar and Mahalaxmi Nagar. Due to heavy rain, water level started increasing. Our team started swift services through two circular boats (Parisal) which were given by the Govt Authorities. In that we did the possible service. Our team 8 members were able to rescue more than 33 local residents.
At some area the water level had crossed above chest height. When we are doing those service the Kanchipuram District Collector and their team came and enquired about our timely services.
We briefed and also assured tomorrow morning (28 Nov) we will be providing around 1000 food packets, along with milk, biscuits, candles and water bottles. When it was getting dark, we stopped the service.
We owe our gratitude and success to the support extended by TN SSSVIP Coordinator, Samith Convenors of Parvathi Nagar & Nenmangalam. Of course as usual our dynamic sevadals (DM) did their best and we pray to beloved Swamy to do the rest and bring normal situation at the earliest.

FLOOD RELIEF SEVA ACTIVITY
Sairam, few live action of Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisation, DM Team Seva dals (The images speak for themselves the seva carried out. Some times words do not suffice). On 11th November 2021 due to heavy rain in Tamil Nadu , few areas in and around Chennai were inundated with water. Those were :
1.Vysarpadi
2.Choolai
3.MMDA
4.Semenchery housing board
5. Velachery Ram ng
6. Ram Nagar near Kamakshi hospital
7. Narayanapuram-Pallikaranai
8.Medavakkam
9. Pirkankarannai
10. Mudichur -Varadarajapuram
11.New colony behind GH12. Hasthinapuram Thirumalai and many more.
These were the places which needed immediate attention. SSSSOTN provided food for one or two days at these areas.
To start with we did the personal assessment and reached one relief centre (Govt School) and provided candles and Biscuits, and bedsheets. We requested the respective DPs and their DOBs to consider and provide fóod from the next day onwards for two to three days.
Many of the Districts started doing the relief seva at the required area and villages.
Few of the places where the relief seva was organised by Kanchi (S) at Varadarajapuram on Friday 12th Nov 2021. WeSai Sevadals distributed around 400 food packets, 300 milk packets, 4 boxes of biscuits. We started distribution after the team prayer in the deep water logged area.
While doing this timely seva snakes were also seen, with Divine blessings no one was harmed .
In the meanwhile a share-auto with full passengers got submerged in water. Our Seva dals along with the local team jumped to the rescue and saved all the passengers. We thank Bhagawan for the opportunity.

International Disaster Mitigation Day– Mock Drill and Training Camp
This was a program organised by the Madurai District Disaster Management Authority at Madurai Collectorate on the occasion of International Disaster Mitigation Day on 13 Oct. On behalf of our organisation , Sri Narayanaswamy, District President, Madurai, was invited and had participated to address the participants on Disaster Management
இலவச பேரிடர் மேலாண்மை பயிற்சி முகாம்
ஓம் ஸ்ரீ சாய்ராம் . பகவான் ஸ்ரீ சத்ய சாய்பாபா அவர்களுடைய திவ்ய அருளால் 03/10/2021 அன்று கொடைக்கானல் அண்ணாநகர் பகுதியில் அமைந்துள்ள சமுதாயக் கூடத்தில் மாபெரும் இலவச பேரிடர் மேலாண்மை பயிற்சி முகாம் நடைபெற்றது. இதில் 65 க்கும் மேற்பட்டோர் காலை அமர்விலும், 14 ஆண்கள் மற்றும் 20 மகிலாஸ் ஆக மொத்தம் 34 பேர் காலை மற்றும் மதிய அமர்வில் பங்கேற்று பயனடைந்தனர். பயிற்சியின் போது முதலுதவி மற்றும் பேரிடர் காலத்தில் நம்மைப் பாதுகாத்துக்கொள்வது மற்றும் பிறரை எப்படி காப்பாற்றுவது பற்றிய பயிற்சி வகுப்புகள் நடைபெற்றன .
கன்வீனர் திரு சாந்த சதீஸ் அவர்கள் அனைவரையும் வரவேற்று கொடைக்கானல் மலைப்பகுதியில் நடந்த மற்றும் நடக்கக்கூடிய பேரிடர்களை பற்றிக் கூறினார். தமிழ்நாடு SRP ஒருங்கிணைப்பாளர் திரு ஜெயராஜ் சாய்ராம் அவர்கள் சேவையில் ஆன்மீகம் மற்றும் அதன் முக்கியத்துவம் குறித்து விளக்கினார். பயிற்சி வகுப்புகளை ராஜபாளையம் மாவட்டத் தலைவர் மற்றும் DM ஒருங்கிணைப்பாளர் திரு சுரேஷ் சாய்ராம் அவர்களுடைய தலைமையிலான குழு மேற்கொண்டது.
நிகழ்ச்சி மேலாண்மையை கொடைக்கானல் ஸ்ரீ சத்திய சாயி சேவா சமிதி யினர் மேற்கொண்டனர். வளாக ஏற்பாடு மற்றும் ஒருங்கிணைப்பிணை ரா கிளப் சங்கத்தினர் மேற்கொண்டனர். கலந்து கொண்ட அனைவருக்கும் மதிய உணவு மற்றும் சிற்றுண்டி வழங்கப்பட்டது. ஐந்து வகுப்புகள் அடங்கிய இந்தப் பயிற்சி முகாமில் 2 வகுப்புகள் சிறப்பாக நிறைவேறியது குறிப்பிடத்தக்கது. ஜெய் சாய்ராம்
Disaster Management – One Day Awareness Program
Sairam, with the Divine Blessings of our Bhagavan, Disaster Management – One Day Awareness Program on 3rd October 2021 at TN Chennai Metro Region, Thiruvallur District. The same was inaugurated by DP, Thiruvallur (W) with an inspiring Swami’s message related to Disaster Management.
Then it was started as per the schedule. The program was grandly supported by the District office bearers of both the districts of Thiruvallur.
Final conclusion note was given by the DP Thiruvallur (E).
54 people participated in this DM awareness program.
All the participants were happy and said they are very much interested to participate in future programs and extend their possible support.
