Planting of the Holy Vata Vruksham saplings, Madurai District, Tamil Nadu

Sairam with the Divine Grace and Blessings of our Beloved Bhagawan, two Vata Vruksham saplings were ceremoniously planted today, one at Sri Sathya Sai Arogya Nilayam, Kuttaladampatti and the other at our Adopted Village Angappankottam.

Initially the saplings were placed before Bhagawan in the altar of Arogya Nilayam along with the accompanying Likhitha Japam books.  After chanting Sri Ganapathi Atharva Sheershsm, Sri Rudram and Sarva Devata Gayathri, followed by Bhajan, the Saplings and Likhitha Japam books were taken in a procession to the plantation pit.  Vibhuthi, kumkum, Chandan  mantra akshada and flowers were sprinkled and Likhitha Japam books were placed on it.  After covering the books with sand, the Vata vruksham sapling was planted amidst chanting of Guru Slokhas and Sai Gayathri.

Bhagawan immediately Blessed with a light drizzle which lasted around two minutes.  The same process was repeated at Angappankottam also, and here too,  Bhagawan Blessed with a slight drizzle lasting around two minutes.

All the Sevadals/devotees who participated felt immensely Blessed.

With this, the process of Prathishta of the 15 saplings are completed.
