Swami always insists on rendering service to humanity and as well teaches us how to serve by seeking out for the opportunities that are prevalent, as we move along in our day to day life. With the faith that is realised through His teachings, it becomes easy for us to handle any crisis with the needed determination.
The devotees of the Sri Sathya Sai Organisation, Chennai Metro North, Tamilnadu looked out for all the possible avenues to ensue Swami’s teachings in various activities like Satsang and Namasmarana and to serve mankind during the lock down period.
The Spiritual Wing of the Chennai Metro during the lock down period conducted various activities, like
- Chanting of Maha Mrutyunjaya mantra,
- Sai Gayathri Japam and
- Gayathri Japam
for the welfare of all, around the world. The Prayers are now ongoing…
Also many contests were conducted for the adults and children like
- Ramayana contest,
- Value contests,
- Cross word and math puzzle contests, as well
- contest on the pandemic Corona for creating an awareness among the devotees and the children.
- Online Satsang on various topics hosted by several veteran speakers,
went on throughout the lock-down, soaking the devotees in divine Bliss.
With the Convenor’s guidance, devotees participated in a Bhajan session from their respective homes on Buddha Purnima.
Children were also given good Bhajan training and by insisting them on the Swami’s teaching on self-reliance and to help the parents, they were encouraged to do a lot of household activities.
Festivities Galore
Tiruvallur East District, Chennai Metro region, organised an online Satsang initiative, on the occasion of 95th Birthday celebrations of Bhagavan. Following the
- Dharma Vahini series,
- Sathya to Sai- Season 2 &3
which talks about the grandeur of His teenage and His marvelous miracles were combined and presented by the Balvikas Alumni (both Gents and Mahilas) for 14 days starting from 25th April to 8th May. Around 750 members participated and around 2250 devotees got benefited from the Satsang. Many positive feed backs were received which left the devotees refreshing and contemplating.
