AUM SRI SAI RAM. With the Divine grace and blessings of our most beloved Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba Varu, all the activities planned as a part of Sri Sathya Sai Grama Seva went on successfully on Saturday 27.02.2021, .
The pristine surroundings of Thiruvadisoolam Village, the fresh air, enthused all the Sevadals no end.
All Our Sevadals converged at the Sri Idaichuranathar Temple with Swami’s divine energy flowing through each one of them eager to start their seva.
The Sai Grama Seva commenced with Gau Daanam at 8.00 am. A beautiful cow and her calf were donated to the temple priest along with its feeds, medicine and necessary equipment’s.
This was followed by Abishekam and Veda chanting and Thiruvachakam rendering. Soulful Sri Sathya Sai Bhajans were sung in front of the presiding deity by devotees.
Manampathy Samithi and Thiruvadisoolam Balavikas Centre were inaugurated by our Sri. S R Chandrasekaran, State president, SSSO, Chennai Metro, Tamilnadu along with Sri. PV VAIDIALINGAM, IRAS (Retd) and Sri. L Narasim Prasad, Retd. Director, Chennai Metro Rail Corporation of India.
Then all the Seva dals and Balvikas children plunged themselves into the temple cleaning activity with gusto. It was really inspiring to see all the young children and the young at heart cleaning the temple with contagious enthusiasm.
Vastradanam was given to the Gurukkal (priest of the temple) , his wife and his children. Amrithakalasam was also distributed to 10 needy people.
Sri Sathya Sai Bal Vikas class was also conducted by our Senior Guru Smt. Kamala Srinivasan to the village Bal Vikas children and Swami’s Divine gift presented to all the kids.
Sanathana Sarathy registrations was also simultaneously conducted inside the temple.
A veterinary camp was also planned to be conducted but was postponed at the last minute due to the Election code of conduct. However Dr. Sundarrajan, Retd. Additional Director, Animal Husbandry Department, Tamilnadu & Dr. Ramesh, Asst. Director, Planning & Execution Department, Head office, Animal Husbandry Department, Tamilnadu along with his team were there and suggested tips for upkeep of the cow and calf. They also treated the cow and calf which were donated to the Temple Gurukkal.
Vadaviritcham and Vilvam Tree planting activity was also conducted and participated with great enthusiasm.
The program finally concluded with Maha Mangala Aarathi to our most beloved Mother Sai.
After that Narayana Seva was done and more than 200 Narayanas including our members had Swami’s Divine Prasadam in the morning and afternoon.
Totally around 114 Sevadals including 31 Mahila Sevadals, devotees and 33 Balvikas children had participated in Sri Sathya Sai Grama Seva and benefited.
Sri Sathya Sai Grama Seva rejuvenated and refreshed all the devotees and infused in them with a burst of Sai Love and energy. All were looking forward to the next Grama Seva to rejuvenate themselves.
