In 1955 Bhajans were commenced in a small home by Swami Abhedhanandha Saraswati with direct instructions and guidence from Bhagawan. During the year 1967 due to certain hindrances with respect to place of Bhajans to be held, Mr & Mrs. Dr. Gajendra Rao, senior devotees then, volunteered and bought a land in the heart of the town and started it as a samithi. They were so selfless, when there came a necessity, Mrs.Rao even sold her Mangalasutra to complete Swami’s Mandir. This couple were very blessed to invite our beloved Bhagawan to their home during 1970s. During that visit swami has also given a discourse to all the devotees and public. We are indeed very blessed, whenever swami visited kodaikanal via road, swami never failed to bless us by a Dharshan during to and from to kodai. Till 1998 everyone enjoyed the bliss of Bhagwan’s proximity. During the year 1998, Swami blessed the samithi members by taking part an evening tiffin along with His Students and spent some time with all the devotees. All such visits of Bhagawan has made a greater impact in transforming many devotees. Life of many has been positively changed with swami’s blessings during his visits to Dharmapuri and Krishnagiri.
