Om Sri Sai Ram. Here is the report for today’s Walk for Values programme conducted by the Sri Sathya Sai Education Wing of the Chennai East Coast District.
The Walk for Values programme aims to promote the integration of moral and ethical values into the community, as taught by Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba in the Sri Sathya Sai Balvikas programme. Swami’s sayings such as “Love All Serve All”, “Be Good, Do Good, See Good”, “Bend the Body, Mend the Senses, Bend the Mind”, “Prayer is the Only Way to Bring Order and Peace”, etc. were printed on placards, and the Bal Vikas children of the Chennai East Coast District displayed them through a 50-minute walk in and around Classic Farms and Kumaraswamy Layout in Sholinganallur.
The walk was conducted along with Nagar Sankeertan, with children and parents singing bhajans as they walked with the placards. The event had a participation of approximately 62 kids, with around 20 parents and 24 sevadals, including Bal Vikas gurus.
The programme concluded with the offering of Arati to Swami and breakfast prasadam to all the participants.

Medical Camp at Ramana Vidyalaya, Sholinganallur
Om Sri Sai Ram. With the blessings of our most beloved Mother Sai, Sholinganallur Sri Sathya Sai Seva Samithi, Chennai East Coast District, Tamilnadu North had conducted a medical camp for the students of Ramana Vidyalaya, Sholinganallur, Chennai on 9th February 2023, Thursday from 8 Am to 2 pm along with Shri Sathya Sai Medical College and Research Institute, Ammapetai, Chengalpattu District.
The medical camp started with lighting the lamp followed by Veda parayanam and soulful Sri Sathya Sai Bhajan.
Team of 35 medical professionals (12 pediatrician and specialists from ophthalmology, ENT, dermatology, dental and genecology along with 13 supporting medical staffs checked the entire 1236 students, school staffs and van drivers thoroughly.
We have also discussed about starting of school Balvikas with the Principal and she has agreed to start from next academic year.
After the medical camp, Maha Mangala Harathi was taken to our Swami.
Swami’s Divine Prasadam (breakfast & lunch) were served to all the doctors, staffs and Sevadals.
School Principal and management express their gratitude to our beloved Mother Sai for arranging the medical Seva for the school.
Around 10 Sevadals participated in the camp.

Thai Poosam Thiruvillakku Puja
Today being Pournami and Thai Poosam Thiruvillakku Puja at Kayar Village went off well with Swami’s Grace and Blessings. 29 mahilas and youth from Kayar Village and 9 sevadals participated. Jai Sairam.

With the Blessings of our most Beloved Mother Sai, 1st Sri Sathya Sai Grama Seva for the year 2023 has been conducted on 4th Feb 2023, Saturday from 8 Am to 2 Pm at Perumthandalam Village , near Thiruporur.
Sri Sathya Sai Grama Seva commenced with Abhisegam for Lord Shiva performed by chanting Omkaram, Veda parayanam, Thiruvasagam and Singing soulful Sai Bhajan by our Sevadals.
Then the Bhajan group started the Sai Grama Sangirthanam from Sri Agathiswarar Temple and reached Peru Sri Rama Anjaneya Malai Temple.
Sri. S. Ganapathi, State Spiritual Coordinator, Tamil Nadu South had delivered a very inspiring speech about our Swami’s love & message to the humanity, Lord Hanuman and importance of Sai Seva activities to the Sevadals, youth members and Devotees.
Vilvam, Nagalingam and Panner Pushpam tree saplings were planted in both the Temple Premises by Our State President Sri. S.R. Chandrasekaran, Sri. Ananda Velu, State DM Coordinator, Tamil nadu North & Sri. S. Ganapathi, State Spiritual Coordinator, Tamil Nadu South.
Then all the Seva Dals and youth members involved themselves in cleaning the very old and beautiful Sri Agathiswar Siva Temple.
At the same time around 10.30 Am, a Special Eye camp was conducted with the help of VHS Hospital, Tharamani, Chennai for the villagers and totally 48 persons were screened and 6 persons are selected for further treatment.
Further sarees and dhotis were given to the Narayanas as our beloved Swami’s prasadam by our State President, State Spiritual Coordinator, State DM Coordinator and District office bearers.
We have also met the Head Master and teachers of Government middle school, Perunthandalam Village to understand and list down their concerns along with the support required for students, also we got an opportunity to discuss about the possibility in starting Balvikas for school children, to which the school management replied positively.
All those activities like Grama Sankirthanam, Sadhana camp, tree plantation, Abishekam, eye camp, vastara dhanam were supported by the present village President and the ex-president of the village, fully involved and enthusiastically engaged till end of the program.
This Divine Grama Seva finally concluded with Maha Mangala Aarathi to our most beloved Mother Sai.
Both Morning and afternoon, Swami’s Divine Maha Prasadam (Narayana Seva) served to all the participants and the villagers.
Totally 52 Sevadals, youth members & Balvikas children had participated in the Sri Sathya Sai Grama Seva and benefited.
Sri Sathya Sai Grama Seva rejuvenated and refreshed all the devotees and infused them with a burst of Sai Love n energy.
All were looking forward to the next Sri Sathya Sai Grama Seva to rejuvenate themselves.

Inauguration of Sri Sathya Sai Balavikas Centre
Om Sri Sai Ram. With the Divine blessings of our beloved Bhagwan, today ie. 28.01.2023, Saturday, we Chennai East Coast District, Tamilnadu North started a school Balvikas in Melaiyur village government school.
Our District Educational Coordinator Smt. Padma Ravindran, District Mahila Youth Coordinator Ms. Jothy, Bal Vikas Guru Smt. Yuvarani Rajkumar and Manamathy Samithi Convener Sri. N Rajkumar were inaugurated and participated in the new school Balvikas class.
The school authorities have requested to come twice a month. Today 28 Jan 2023 around 75 children attended the BV class.
Our DEC took value oriented stories along with a value game. Children were very happy and interactive in the class.

Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisations, Chennai East Coast District, Tamil Nadu North had organized a “ Student Empowerment Programme ” (Insight about Civil service exams) on 30th January 2023, Monday for the students of Mohammed Sathak College of Arts and Sciences, Sholinganallur, Chennai in association with the IKLAS IAS Academy , Chennai at the college premises from 10.30 Am to 2 Pm.
More than 400 students participated in the programme.
Programme started with prayer and Tamil Thai vazthu.
College Chairman & Principal welcomed all the dignitaries and honored with salvai (Shawl) and memento to all the Chief guests.
The gathering had the fortune of listening to the guest lectures of the following eminent personalities:
Sri S R Chandrasekaran , State President, Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisations, Tamil Nadu North elaborated about our organization with specific reference to our wide spectrum of service activities and about our beloved Swami’s mission of love.

The above eminent speakers touched upon the prerequisites & eligibility criteria for writing civil services exam, a high level national competitive exam by UPSC. The various avenues of successful completion of selection process.
The strategies for meeting the challenges faced by the aspirants with their real-life examples.
Professors from the IKLAS IAS Academy briefed about the free coaching rendered by them to the aspirants. They also offered their services to the students gathered there.
The District Office bearers and members of Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisations, Chennai East Coast District had participated in the programme.
It was an amazing and very informative motivational program.
The programme ended with National Anthem and everyone thanked our beloved Mother Sai for giving this wonderful opportunity.

Om Sri Sai Ram. With Swamy blessings, today 14th January 2023, Saturday, the Boogi celebration was grand success through a Disaster Management and First Aid Training program at Olympia housing complex, Navalur, OMR, Chennai Metro East Coast District.
Totally 78 residents of apartment, apartment security personnel & employees, college students and children along with 5 DM Trainers including DM State Co-ordinator Mr. Anand Velu Sairam, Mr. Balaji Sairam, District DM Coordinator and 8 Sri Sathya Sai Sevadals were participated in this noble program.
All the participants were enlightened and requested us to conduct complete DM program in days to come to gain further more knowledge.

Disaster Awareness Program at Vels University
Sairam with the enormous blessings from our beloved Swamy’s the day-2 (26-3-22) program at Vels University, Talambur was grand success. After a long time many faculties taken part in this program. Total participants were 402 and facilities Mahilas 6 and 8 gents sevadals, which includes the Dist DM Coordinators of Metro East Mr Balaji, Thiruvallur Mr Pavitharan, Kanchi North Mr Balaji, Kanchi South Mr Thiyagu.
Outcome of the program: The College students and Authorities became more emotional. We submit all these at the lotus feet of Mother Sai. Jai Sai Ram

BHAGAWAN SRI SATHYA SAI BABA 96TH BIRTHDAY CELEBRATIONS
With the divine blessings of our beloved mother Sri Sathya Sai Baba, the Liquid Love- Blood donation camp went on well. The camp was organised by the members of our District Sri Sathya Sai Youth Wing along with VHS Hospital, Adayar and supported by Sri Sathya Sai Sevadals. The camp was held today (21st November 2021) at Ramana Vidhyalaya, Sholinganallur, Chennai from 9 Am to 2 Pm as a part of our beloved Swami’s 96th birthday celebrations.
The Liquid Love camp started with blissful Sri Sathya Sai Bhajans and Veda parayanam.
Around 45 donors Participated in the Liquid Love camp and out of which 38 donors donated blood. Others were not able to donate due to medical reasons.
Certificate for the donors were given post donation.
Around 22 gents Seva Dals and 20 mahila Seva Dals participated in this noble Seva.
The camp concluded with Maha Mangala Aarathi taken to our beloved Swami and Swami’s Divine Dairy and vibuthi given to the doctors and school authorities as a token of Love.
Delicious Swami’s Divine Prasadam both breakfast and lunch were served to all the participants and donors.

With the blessings of our most beloved Mother Sai, provisions for Narayana Seva were given on 10 Nov 2021 to the Kannaki Nagar people who were affected due to recent flood in their location through our Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisations, Tamilnadu.
Through this Narayana Seva more than 1000 Narayana’s got Swami’s Divine Maha Prasadam.
Our organization senior devotee Sri. M Lakshmi Narayanan Sairam, Thoraipakkam Samithi Convenor Sri. L Rajasekar Sairam and other Sai devotees participated in this unique Sai Seva.

Motivational and Mentorship Program to Youth
With blessings of our most beloved Mother Sai, the third session of motivational and mentorship program was conducted at Kannaki Nagar Primary school, Thoraipakkam, Chennai on 31st October 2021, Sunday from 9 Am to 2 Pm for 50 youth members.
The Program started with Veda parayanam followed by Blissful Sri Sathya Sai Bhajans.
Our Divine Mother Sai gifted beautiful Kanchipuram Sarees, shirt / Dothi and kids dresses for 40 Mahila youth, school teachers, 16 gents youth and 16 children for the festival of Deepavali.
Senior Sai members of the organization Sri. M Lakshmi Narayan Sairam, State IT Coordinator Sri. Venkat Srirmagiri, Sri. Ashok, Convenor, Perungudi Samithi, Sri. ML. Rajasekar, Convenor, Thoraipakkam Samithi and other members distributed the same.
The main mentorship program commenced with spoken English class for youths by our Sai Sister Smt. Deiva Laksmi Sairam.
Sri. Parasuraman Krishnamurthy Sairam then started the motivational program in his own inimitable way and it lasted for 2 hours and entire crowd was engrossed in the session.
Our District Youth Coordinator Sri. Sairam had delivered a wonderful information about our Sai Seva Activities regarding Liquid Love, educational Seva, Grama Seva and other medical activities and motivated the participants to attend the Sai Seva activities for better tomorrow and all the youth members whole-heartedly agreed and requested us to involve themselves in Sai Seva in the future.
The program ended with taking Maha Mangala Aarathi to our beloved Mother Sai.
Divine Prasadam lunch with special sweets was served to all the participants and Sevadals.

PROVIDING SKILL DEVELOPMENT EQUIPMENT TO THE PHYSICALLY CHALLENGED– DAY 2

With the blessings of our most beloved Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba Varu, second and third day measurement and assessment camp for Physically challenged, mentally challenged and hearing impaired Persons went on very well on 5th and 7th October 2021, Tuesday and Thursday from 9 Am to 4 Pm at Kannaki Nagar Primary school.
Totally 146 beneficiaries participated in the camp.
Officials from NIEPMD validated all the physically, mentally challenged and hearing impaired Persons and identified the needy persons.
Around 11 Sevadals and 25 youth members of Kannaki Nagar Participated in the camp.
Also 35 technicians, officials and students from National Institute of Empowerment for Persons with Multiple Disabilities participated in the camp.
Swami’s Maha Prasadam lunch was served to all the participants in the camp.
Again tomorrow we have a camp for Physically and visually challenged in the same place from 9 Am to 2 Pm.

PROVIDING SKILL DEVELOPMENT EQUIPMENT TO THE PHYSICALLY CHALLENGED– DAY 1

With the blessings of our most beloved Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba Varu , first day measurement and assessment camp for Physically challenged Persons went on very well on 4th October 2021, Monday from 9 Am to 4 Pm at Kannaki Nagar Primary school.
Totally 36 beneficiaries participated in the camp.
Persons from NIEPMD validated all the physically challenged Persons and identified the needy persons. Around 15 Sevadals and 20 youth members of Kannaki Nagar Participated in the camp.
Also 20 technicians, officials and students from the National Institute of Empowerment for Persons with Multiple Disabilities participated in the camp.

Vetri Nichayam (Success guaranteed) – A Motivational Program for Youth

With the blessings of our most beloved Mother Sai, ”Vetri Nichayam (Success guaranteed)” a motivational programme for youth members of Kannaki Nagar, Manampathy Village, Thiruvadisoolam Village and other members of our district was arranged on 29th August 2021, Sunday at Corporation Primary School, Kannaki Nagar, Thoraipakkam from 9 Am to 1.30 Pm.
The program was inaugurated by lighting the lamp by our State President and other senior members followed by Veda Parayanam and Sri Sathya Sai Bhajans. Welcome address was given by K Prabhu, District President. Smt. Vijayalakshmi welcomed the chief guests and others on behalf of Kannaki Nagar APJ Abdul Kalam People Welfare Association.
Our State President Sri. S.R. Chandrasekaran delivered a brief introductory speech where he dwelt on our beloved Swami’s multi fold service projects like free education, free health care, Sai Ganga Project and how this was an expression of Swami’s love for humanity. He also exhorted the youth members to grasp this motivational program for their own upliftment.
This was followed by an inspiring talk by Kalaimamani Solvender Sri. Suki Sivam. The youth members and others were spellbound by the speech and no doubt deeply inspired. Sri. Suki Sivam interspersed his speech Swami’s golden captions like “Love All Serve All” ”Service to the humanity is service to the God” and more. He also elaborated how the youth can channelize their energies for not only improving their life but also the society as a whole.

As a mark of our appreciation and token of love, Our State President Sri. S R Chandrasekaran presented Mr. Suki Sivam with a beautiful Swami’s Photograph and Swami’s Vahini Series books.
The main motivational programme commenced exactly by 10.45 Am with Mr. K Parasuraman addressing the youth. Topic of the discussion was வெற்றி நிச்சயம் (Success guaranteed). The key highlights of Sri. K Parasuraman speech is reproduced below for the benefit of all.
- Move from scarcity mentality to abundant mentality
- Move from “complaining and blaming” to ” Gratitude.”
- Dig deep within your inner self to determine your Personal Goals, ambitions and desires.
- Seek out “Reference points” of already successful people in your field learn from their journey. Just copy, paste their journey and customize it for yourself
- Follow the master, face the devil, fight to the end and finish the game.
- Associate with people of similar interests aligned with your goals
- Competence builds confidence.
- Develop self-confidence by focusing more on what you are good at rather than what you are bad.
- Last but not the least… Persist till you succeed.
It was a very interactive session and youth members actively involved themselves in the entire program. There was also an overwhelming request from the youth participants to conduct similar motivational programmes at frequent intervals.
Totally 65 youth members, 38 Seva Dals and other members participated in the programme.
Disaster Preparedness Program participation certificate also given to all the youth participants by our organisation members.
The program concluded with vote of thanks by Sri. A.Marisamy, Founder President, APJ Abdul Kalam People Welfare Association, Kannaki Nagar, Thuraipakkam, Chennai.
Maha Mangala Aarathi was taken to our beloved Mother Sai by Sri. K. Parasuraman.
Swami’s Maha Prasadam (lunch) was served to all the participants.
