SPECIFIC SERVICE PROJECTS OR INITIATIVES - Medical Centres
We have 4 Sai Kripa medical Centres – one at Thirumangalam, Anna Nagar was inaugurated by our Beloved Bhagawan about 37 years back. This operates in the premises owned by our trust. It caters to around 1200 patients per month.
Sai Kripa in Ashok Nagar was inaugurated about 8 years back and operates in the Samithi premises owned by a devotee. It caters to around 350 patients per month.
Sai Kripa at Chinmaya Nagar operates in Chinmaya Nagar Samithi premises. It caters to around 250 patients per month.
Saikripa at Nungambakkam operates in a temple . It caters to around 150 patients per month.
Sri Sathya Sai National Narayana Seva (SSSNNS) – 365 Days
In line with the mission of ourBhagawan Sri Sathya Sai, Sri Sathya Sai National Narayana Seva was inaugurated in the year 2011 with a view to adopt certain people from our district and feed two means for the entire 365 days of the year. Accordingly, we have identified 75 members, who are either destitues, or abandoned by their family members or very poor etc. in Bharathi Nagar, a place where our Bhagawan made His Divine visit. Each Samithi has been allotted a particular date. The Samithi members on their allotted date, will collect food packets from members of their Samithi, parents of BV children and neighbours and take to the particular place by 11.30 am. The Coordinator who has been looking after, will visit each household along with the Samithi members and distribute the divine prasadam.
With His Divine grace and will, we have been doing this seva without any break. Even during flood and Vardhah cyclone, the prasadam was served to all identified members.
Reading for Visually Challenged
Free Tuition Centers
T Nagar samithi has been doing this seva for the past three decades. Every Sunday more than 150 visually challenged persons served. The highlight of this seva is many college students are part of reading activity. Visually challenged person from Vridhachalam, 200 kms away from Chennai, comes all the way week after week. Many sevadals are part of this seva for over two decades.
The seva starts with bhajan. During the session, tea/coffee is served to all – students as well as volunteers and at the end of the session, Narayana seva is served to all.West Mambalam Samithi is also doing this seva on every Tuesday. This seva has been done for the past 25 years. 30 visually challenged people are benefitted out of this seva in this particular area.

School Balvikas & Vidya Jyothi Programme –
With Swami’s grace and blessings, School Balvikas programme has been going on successfully from 2016 onwards. This year also, we were taking Balvikas classes in the following schools – Madras Seva Sadan, Vadapalani Matriculation School, Padma Sarangapani School, Springfield Matriculation School, Aditya Matriculation School, Jaigopal Garodia School, Corporation School West Mambalam. In addition, two schools in our district were adopted under the Sri Sathya Sai Vidya Jyoti Programme viz., Cantonment Board School, Nandambakkam and Government Higher Secondary School, West Mambalam (Pudur School).
Balavikas Parenting
BV parenting is conducted in samithi level once in 3 months. Also, a new initiative of zonal level BV parenting was started, where the program will be conducted in a samithi of that particular zone involving BV parents of all samithis of the zone for 3 Continuous Sundays and gurus give presentations on the various topics being learnt by BV students in the class, the significance and the purpose of it.Also, BV Gurus enact various skits, role plays, etc to make the program even more interesting. BV parents find it very useful & we witness increase in membership by conducting these sort of programs.
Free Tuition Centers
West Mambalam Samithi has been doing this seva for over three decades. The benefiaries are poor people. Presently, the people who got benefit out of this class, are involved in teaching students.
Thirumangalam Samithi is also doing this seva for over two decades. The beneficiaries are mainly from poor background who have no means to afford to join a private tuition. Also, this tuition center is conducted in “Thiruveethi Amman Temple” in Thirumangalam, where Bhagawan has visited physically & has done Navagraha Prathishta. Around 40+ students are getting benefitted currently. 15+ teachers (Our Sai Brothers & Sisters) are volunteering & taking tuitions from Monday – Friday – 6 PM to 7.30 PM with a clearcharted time-table maintained.As these children are from the poor background, their health condition is also poor & to strengthen their nutrition – protein energy, we give Sai Proteins to them & we could see the change in them after intake of it.
