Planting of Vata Vruksham saplings ~ Madurai District,Tamil Nadu

Aum Sri Sairam

Aum Sri Sai Sadhaka Anugraha Vata Vruksha Prathishtapakaya Namah
With the infinite Grace and Blessings of our beloved Bhagawan, 10 out of the 15 Vata vruksham saplings were planted today in the Campuses of Sri Mahatma Montessori School, Gopalakrishnan gardens, Alagarkovil.
Prior permission was obtained from the Government authorities for the function.
First the saplings were neatly placed in front of Bhagawan along with the likhitha Japam books.
The function commenced with Veda chanting followed by Ashtothram and Bhajan.
After Aarathi to Bhagawan, the saplings were taken in a procession to their respective plantation areas amidst Chanting of Sri Rudram, Bhajan and Sai Gayathri.
The principal of the School carried the Likhitha Japam books on his head throughout, which reminded one of Sri Bharatha carrying Sri Rama’s Padugas.
First the likhitha Japam books were placed in the pit, and flowers, vibhuthi and kumkum were sprinkled.  Then it was covered with sand and on top of it the holy Vata vruksham sapling was planted amidst Chanting of Sai Gayathri, Guru slokhas. After sprinkling of vibhuthi, kumkum and flowers, the pit was covered and Aum Sri Sai Sadhaga anugraha Vata Vruksha Prathishtapakaya Namah was chanted three times.
This was repeated for all the ten saplings.
Balvikas children, Balvikas gurus, Sevadals and School authorities and teachers participated in the programme.
Jai Sairam
