Sairam with divine blessing from Swami prasanthi seva sadhana camp was held in karikudi samithi of Ramnad – Sivagangi district. Camp was inaugurated by District President of Sivagangi. Speakers from various districts were shared the importance of the 3 national initiative and also prasanthi seva. The program concluded with maha mangala arthi.
With the blessings and gracefulness of our Bhagwan Sri Sathya Sathya Sai Baba, on behalf of Sivaganga & Ramnad Districts, District Level Mahila Sadhana Shibir was held on 16.4.2023, Sunday at Karaikudi Sri Sathya Sai Seva Samithi following the guidelines prescribed by Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisations, Tamilnadu ( South ) , India.
The deliberations were based on the topics covered and discussed during the All India Mahila Sadhana Shibir -2023 held at Prashanthi Nilayam in the month of February. District level Mahila Sadhana Shibir began with bhajan. After that the District President delivered a special address emphasising the importance, responsibilities and involvement of mahilas in all aspects of samithi activities. Mrs S.Hemamalini expressed on the objective of Mahila Sadhana Shibir. The topic on The role of Mahilas in strengthening the Samithi was addressed by Dr V. Radha followed by Dr V.R.Jeyasala on Spiritual Sadhana and Veda Chanting – the core strength of Mahilas.
The other topics Seva as Sadhana, Grama Seva & Bhajan Vikas, Expansion of Balvikas & Vidyajyothi, Nine Code of Conduct and National level Initiatives and the Role of Youth were presented by Smt.R.Vijayalaksmi, Smt.K.Rajeshwari, who is Balvikas Guru, Smt.R.Lalitha and Smt. S.Shanmugapriya respectively. All the sessions were coordinated by the mahila District coordinators who attended the All India Mahila Sadhana Shibir as well as by the samithi coordinators.
This unique programme was attended by 52 mahila participants who included mahilas from Karaikudi, Sivaganga, Manamadurai samithis and Thirupathur Bhajan mandali. With the active involvement and participation of all mahilas, this special programme was very successful. All the participants were very much pleased and felt it very essential and need of the hour. The programme started at 8.15 a.m. with flag hoisting followed by all the events mentioned in minute by minute agenda and ended with Maha Mangala Aarthi.

Seva at the annual festival of Muthumariamman Temple
Muthumariamman Temple stands at the centre of Karaikudi.
The annual festival began on 14th March till 22nd March is visited by lakhs of devotees from the the near and far locations including overseas devotees.
This temple is revered to be a very powerful goddess fulfilling the wishes of devotees undertaking the pilgrimage by foot during the annual Milk Pot (Paal Kudam) festival.
From 14th March to 22nd March around 8 lakh devotees performed Milk Pot Abhishekam
On this auspicious occasion With divine grace of our beloved Bhagavan following activities were done by members of Karaikudi Samithi – Sivaganga District.
17th March to 22nd March gave Buttermilk, Panakam and Sarbath to around 5000 devotees daily
Overall around 30000 devotees were given on these 6 days.
On 19th March distribution of Vegetable Rice to around 2400 devotees
On 21st March – Morning distribution of Lemon and Curd Rice to 1300 devotees
In the evening – Pongal, Idly, Kauni Rice famous Chettinad sweet was distributed to 2600 devotees
Overall 6300 devotees were benefitted with this Narayana Seva. Jai Sairam
With the blessings of Bhagavan, Maha Shivaratri. was celebrated with devotion and religious fervor in Karaikudi Samithi,Sivaganga District on 18th February, 2023 from 6.00 pm onwards
The Four Kala puja commenced with Pundits Chanting Maha Rudram, Chamakam, Sri Suktam, Purusha Suktam, Narayana Suktam, Mantra Pushpam, Lingashtakam, Vishwanathashtakam and other Sacrad Hyms lasting for 1 hour. During this Chanting Maha Rudra Abhishekam also were performed and followed by Akanda Bhajan till 5.00 am on 19th February, 2023
4 kala Linga Abhishekam was performed as follows:
1st Kala : 6 .00 – 9.00 P.M – Vasthram – Green Color, Flower – Vilvam, Tulsi, Prasadam – Kesari & Mixed Rice
2nd Kala: 9 – 12 P.M – Vastram – Red Color, Flower – Red colored, Prasadam – Fruits
3rd Kala : 12 – 3 P.M – Vastram – Blue Color, Flower – Green Colored, Prasadam – Sesame & Curd Rice
4th Kala: 3 A.M onwards – Vastram – White, Flower – All types, Prasadam – Sweet Rice, Pongal & Vada
Linga Abhishekam by Devotees
Abhishekam of a Lingam consisted of bathing the Lingam with various materials and Different prasadam was offered. Each material represents an element of nature Lingam is bathed with milk , Curd, Ghee, Honey, Sugar aside Vemillion Powder (Kumkum), Sandalwood Paste, Turmericc, Sugarcane Water, Coconut Water.
During Every Kala, Sri Rudram & Chamakam Parayanam was done.
Around 250 Devotees spread over night participated in Maha Shivaratri Celebrations and showed their devotion to our beloved Omni Present Bhagavan.
The entire function concluded with Mangala Aarti on 19th February Morning 5 a.m.

Navaratri Festival 2022
Day 1- Navaratri:
With the divine blessings of our Mother Sai, The Navaratri Festival 2022 began today with NATIYANJALI Programme . 10 students participated and offer their love to swami in various types of Natyam.
Prof. H. Gurumallesh Prabhu (Former Registrar & Professor, Head – Department of Industrial Chemistry , Alagappa University, Karaikudi) Joined us as Special Chief Guest for today’s event and gave the mementos to all the participants.
Overall 60+ people attended the event.
The Event comes to an end with Mahamangala Aarathi to our beloved Sai.
Day 2- Navaratri:
The Second day celebration starts with Lalitha Sahasranamam Parayanam and Evening Program starts with Selvi. Shanthalakshmi vocal concert for 45 mins and the programme was continued by Selvi. Premi for the next 1 hr. For both the concerts Selvan. Prithivikumar (Mirudangam) & Thiru. Chandru (Violin) accompanied in Pakavadyam.
Dr. S. Karuppachamy (Member of Syndicate & Professor, Head – Department of Energy Science, Alagappa University, Karaikudi) Joined us as Chief Guest for today’s event and gave the mementos to all the participants.
Overall 50+ people attended the event.
The Event came to an end with Mahamangala Aarathi.
Day 3- Navaratri:
The Third day celebration starts with Lalitha Sahasranamam Parayanam and Evening Program was done by Selvan. Pranav vocal concert for 1hr 30 mins. Master. C. Sairam (Mirudangam) & Thiru. Chandru (Violin) accompanied in Pakavadyam.
Dr. T.R. Gurumoorthy ( Senior Professor & Head – Department of Commerce, Alagappa University, Karaikudi) Joined us as Chief Guest for today’s event and gave the mementos to all the participants.
Overall 50+ people attended the event.
The Event comes to an end with Mahamangala Aarathi.
Shivaratri Celebrations
Shivaratri Function Report:
1. With the Divine Grace and the Benovolence of our most beloved Bhagavan Baba Shivaratri function at Karaikudi Samithi was celebrated in grand manner. At 06.00 pm on 1st March 2022 we began 4 Kala pooja with offerings to Lord Rudra as, Vedic Pundits began their rendition with Sri Rudram, Chamakam, Sri Suktam, Purushasuktam, Narayanasuktam, Manthra puspham, Vishwanathashtakam followed by Lingashtakam and many other hymns lasted an hour. highlight was an auspicious “Maha Rudrabhishekam” to the sanctified Lingam in the our Karaikudi Samithi prior to the commencement of Akhanda Bhajan.
2. Four Kala abhishekam was split as follows Evening 6 pm to 9 pm, 9 pm to 12 am, 12 am to 3 am and 3 am to 6 am
3. The abhishekam was performed by Devotees themselves during every Kala with different items to the Lingam are: milk, curd, ghee, honey, sugar, gandham, five types of cut fruits, five types of dry fruits, tender coconut water, special flowers, vibhuti, rudraksha leaves, Sugar cane juice, turmeric and pure water.
4. As the Abhishekam with various items progressed, Bhajan continued and at the end of every Kala Pooja chanting of Sri Rudram and Chamakam continued Alankaram, decorating the Lingam, followed along with Shiva Ashtothra Namavali and Sri Sathya Sai Ashtothara Namavali Dhoop (Fragrance) Arathi, Offering of Naivedyam and Ashirvachana, seeking blessings from The Lord, followed before Mangala Arathi offering to Lingam.
5. Night-long Shivarathri function continued with enthusiastic 200 odd Devotees singing the bhajans throughout the night.
6. There was a good turnout of devotees during the entire night and entire Samithi and surrounding area was vibrant with devotional singing.
7. At the scheduled hour at 0600 am on 2nd March morning entire function ended with Mangala Arti
8. At the end of every Kala Pooja Prasadam was offered to devotees.
9. The following Prasadam was offered at the end of every Kala after offering to Swami
