BRIEF HISTORY

In the middle of 1964, with 25 families as members, the Neyveli Sathya Sai Seva Samajam started. In 1965 there was an exhibition of our beloved Bhagawan conducted at Block-21 auditorium. In 1966, the annual function was celebrated in Block-13 community hall. In the same year, Neyveli Sathya Sai Seva Samithi’s construction work was started. The construction work was completed by 1973. All the members of the District joined in swami’s service activities. Bhajans were held in huts in those days while the construction work was going on. The Samithi was started with strength of 25 family members. It is now, grown up to 150 family members till date. The Samithi has completed its GOLDEN JUBILEE YEAR in 2016.

DIVINE VISIT
On 24th January 1982 our divine Bhagwan visited the Neyveli Sai Samithi. Our beloved bhagwan visited the Balvikas Exhibition which was held in E-22, Bharathidasan Salai, Block-8, Neyveli-607801 (Neyveli Sai Samithi). The first program was held in the “BHARATHI STADIUM” starting with processions and Sai Bhajans. Swami joyously enjoyed the bhajan completely. Around 5000 people gathered to see and seek the divine blessings. The Cuddalore district had the divine grace, when The Master Divine, Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai had willed to bless the Neyveli Sai Samithi, addressing a concourse of devotees at the Bharati Stadium, Neyveli on 24th January 1982.
